Parent Tip of the Week
To be proactive means to take responsibility for your choices and behaviors.
Discuss with your family, a reactive word or phrase that seems to come up frequently in your household. Make a family pledge to ban the reactive word and replace it with a proactive word or phrase. For example, instead of saying "I'll try," say "I'll do it."
